The Renewable PC-Only RFO [Request for Offers]
NV Energy is issuing this RFO (Request for Offers) to interested parties with the intent of securing Nevada-qualified Portfolio Energy Credits (PCs) only (i.e., without bundled energy) from qualified generators of Renewable Energy under terms and conditions favorable to NV Energy's customers for use in satisfying the Nevada Renewable Portfolio Standard. This RFO is consistent with NV Energy's objective to meet Nevada's legislated Renewable Portfolio Standard at the lowest reasonable cost and in an environmentally responsible manner.
The Renewable RFP (Currently Evaluating Proposals)
NV Energy issued this RFP to interested parties with the intent of securing electric power requirements and the associated portfolio energy credits from renewable resources under terms and conditions favorable to NV Energy's customers. This RFP was consistent with NV Energy's objective to obtain safe, reliable, and adequate power supplies for its customers at the lowest reasonable cost and in an environmentally responsible manner.
