Agriculture Property Application
Hydropower is based on simple concepts. Moving water turns a turbine, the turbine spins a generator, and electricity is produced. Now NV Energy customers can take advantage of running water on their agriculture property to help lower their monthly power bill and the RenewableGenerations incentive program can help offset the system equipment and installations cost.
NV Energy is accepting applications for the HydroGenerations incentive program.
Maximum Incentive Values
The maximum incentive amount for the HydroGenerations program is 200 kW. The program is available to agriculture customers and features 2 program categories, Net Metered and Non-Net Metered. Non-Net Metered customers sell their energy production to NV Energy on the Short Term Avoided Cost Tariff. Call 866-786-3823 for details.

The HydroGenerations incentive program is for agriculture property owners only.
- Familiarize yourself with the RenewableGenerations website and review the Program Handbook and Frequently Asked Questions.
- Contact a Nevada Licensed Contractor.
- Contract a Nevada Licensed Professional Engineer to provide estimated annual hours of operation and kWh production.
- Apply to the HydroGenerations Incentive Program.
- Construct your hydro system.
