The deadline for submitting completed projects for ALL incentives offered under the 2009 Program was December 1, 2009. 

Projects that are not completed and submitted for payment by December 1 may not be paid in 2009.  However these projects may be eligible to resubmit an application after the new 2010 Program and incentives are announced. 

As in the past, incentive levels and structure are subject to change in 2010. Applications for 2010 will not be accepted until the 2010 program is officially announced. 

Commercial Incentive Overview

What: NV Energy has incentives and rebates available for most commercial, industrial, and institutional customers to assist them with retrofit and equipment replacement energy conservation projects. Technical assistance is available to NV Energy customers to assist in determining conservation opportunities for customers committed to installing energy efficiency equipment. A pre-project and post-project inspection may be required.

Why: The Sure Bet Project helps our Commercial customers to save money on their utility bills, improve their facilities, and protect the environment through reduced energy consumption.

When: The 2009 was launched on January 1, 2009 and ran through December 1, 2009.

Several changes have been made to the forms compared to previous years. Please review all the documents and contact us if you have any questions.

1. Submit the Sure Bet Application and technology information sheets for all applications over $7,500 (Strongly recommended for all projects to reserve funding) to:

2. Install the qualified technology by December 1, 2009. A pre-project and post-project inspection may be required.

Following is a list of contractors that have attended NV Energy-provided training for the Sure Bet program.  NV Energy does not recommend or endorse any specific contractor on this list, and is providing this list solely for informational purposes.  Northern Nevada   Southern Nevada

3 Update the forms (the Sure Bet Application package and technology sheets) with the results from your project. Be sure to include all appropriate documentation (invoices, savings calculations, and other documents as specified by the Sure Bet Team), and 3rd party assignment if applicable.

The incentive check will be sent within 4 to 6 weeks after approval of the Request for Payment and all inspections are completed.
