The Sure Bet project helps commercial customers implement cost-effective energy efficient specifications in their new construction projects. There are two types of incentives for new construction projects under the Sure Bet Project:
Prescriptive - offered on a per-unit basis for common energy saving
technologies.
Performance - based on the amount of electrical energy savings achieved by exceeding IECC standards.
There are several changes to the forms from previous years. We encourage you to review all the documents and to contact us if you have any questions
How to Apply:
It’s as Easy as 1-2-3
1. Submit the Sure Bet Application Package and the project information and technology sheets. This is strongly recommended for all projects to reserve funding.
2. Complete construction by December 1, 2009
3. Update the forms (the Sure Bet Application package and technology sheets) with the results from your project. Be sure to include all appropriate documentation (invoices, savings calculations, and other documents as specified by the Sure Bet Team), and 3rd party assignment if applicable.
The incentive check will be sent within 4 to 6 weeks after approval of the Request for Payment and all inspections are completed.
