Northwestern Nevada

Northwestern Nevada consists of Humboldt County, Pershing County and Lander County.

The established industries within northwestern Nevada are mining & ore processing (gold, silver, barite, and specialty minerals), chemicals, plastic piping, food processing, gaming & tourism, and agriculture (potatoes, alfalfa, and corn).  Some of the targeted industries for this region are light manufacturing and fabrication operations, chemical manufacturers to serve the mining industry, users of nitric acid, ammonia nitrate and cyanide, sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid and food processing utilizing potato and dairy production.
