Automatic Monthly Payments enables you to pay your power bill with an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. It's the ultimate in convenience. No checks, stamps, fees, hassle, or waiting in line -- it's all done automatically for you every month. Your payment will be deducted from your bank account on the date it is due.

It's Easy To Join.

Just log into MyAccount with your username and password (use the handy sign in on this page). Look for the menu item "Automatic Monthly Payments" and follow the instructions to set up your automatic monthly recurring payments. Please continue to pay your bill as before until a message appears on your bill that states, "Do Not Pay." Once that happens, Automatic Monthly Payments is doing the work for you.

Who qualifies?

Automatic Monthly Payments is open to all residential and commercial customers with a current account and no more than one returned check in a 12-month period.

How will I know the amount of my bill?

You will continue to receive your NV Energy bill at the same time you do now. It will even look the same, except for the "Do Not Pay" message. The only difference is that it will state the amount to be deducted from your account on the due date. Your regular bank statement will reflect the charge as well.

When will the amount be deducted from my bank account?

The due date is listed on your NV Energy printed bill. This is the date that money will be transferred from your bank account to NV Energy.

How do I edit my bank account information?

Just log into MyAccount and click the "Account Overview" menu item. Near the bottom of the page you will see where you can edit your bank account information. If you do not have online access, please call us immediately to avoid any unnecessary charges.

What if I decide I don't like my bills paid automatically?

Just log into MyAccount and click the "Automatic Monthly Payments" menu item and follow the instructions to cancel your participation in Automatic Monthly Payments. Or if you prefer, simply notify us in writing with your name, address and NV Energy Account Number (19 digit number located on your NV Energy bill).

I prefer to sign up by mail.

If you prefer to sign up by mail it's easy -- just print out the application in this brochure and mail it in to the address nearest you (northern or southern Nevada). Include a voided check if payment will be made from your checking account. If you prefer payment be made from your savings account, include a savings deposit slip.
