Utility Bill and Assistance Programs

NV Energy's energy assistance programs, SAFE and Project REACH, help customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bill. Each program has specific criteria applicants must meet before assistance is provided. SAFE serves NV Energy's northern Nevada while Project REACH serves NV Energy's southern Nevada service territory.

This program is administered on a volunteer basis by community service agencies throughout NV Energy's northern Nevada service territory. SAFE provides assistance to those who may not qualify for state or federal energy assistance programs but who, through financial hardship, may need a little extra help paying their utility bill.

Project REACH

Working with United Way of Southern Nevada and 14 partner agencies, Project Reach assists income-qualified adults over the age of 62, medically fragile persons as well as Reserve and National Guard members with their utility bill.
