Comverge White-Rodgers Thermostat Recall

The Comverge White-Rodgers Thermostat has been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). White-Rodgers and the CPSC have determined that the thermostat may be defective and may overheat under rare operating conditions. They are recommending permanent removal of the AA batteries and that you contact White-Rodgers for a free battery replacement plug.

NV Energy will completely remove and replace the Comverge White-Rodgers Thermostat at no cost to you. Despite the low probability of the occurrence of these conditions, NV Energy considers the installation of these thermostats as creating an unnecessary risk of property/equipment damage and customer dissatisfaction.

Please contact a Cool Share Customer Service Representative at 702- 402-1111 and mention program name Comverge Thermostat to schedule a no-cost removal and replacement.

Should you choose to not replace the thermostat, please follow the recommendation of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to remove all batteries from the thermostat and contact White-Rodgers for your free battery replacement plug inscribed with a warning to not install batteries in the unit.
