Gas Module Usage Graphs

The Energy Usage by Time of Day graph only displays gas usage in hourly intervals because the meter registers consumption at a slower rate than electricity.

To view gas usage information, click on the Meter drop-down menu and select the gas meter. Again, the bars in the weekly view of 1-hour interval gas usage data are too fine a detail.

Gas Module Usage Graphs

The daily view of gas usage data is displayed in 24 hourly intervals. In this example, the hourly interval data appears on the graph in surges. If the amount of gas used per hour is less than 1 CCF, the meter continues to record and send usage data until it registers 1 CCF. The MDMS then performs the billing calculation process, updates the account, and the graph is populated in therm value.

The bars also appear on the graph in even rows. This is most common during the warmer months due to reduced gas usage. During the colder months, the graph can populate the interval data hourly and display 1 therm or more depending on usage
